Nick and Danyelle live in California, but with family in Indiana, they chose to elope at Deep River Park, creating a special moment that brought their loved ones together. Before the ceremony, we had the chance to sit down with Nick and hear their love story. It was one of those love-at-first-sight moments—one party invite led to another, and soon enough, they were inseparable. Now, standing in the middle of a picturesque Indiana field, they were about to make it official.

The Ceremony – A Romantic Union in Nature

The ceremony took place in a beautiful open field, surrounded by nature. Nick looked sharp in a blue suit, and Danyelle radiated elegance in her dainty white dress. One of the most special aspects of the day was that Nick’s daughter was part of the wedding, making this union even more meaningful.

The officiant delivered a heartfelt speech, setting the tone for their vows. The nostalgic, timeless feel of their love inspired us to lean into a soft, romantic edit, and the results were nothing short of breathtaking.

One thing that really stood out was how adventurous Nick and Danyelle are. They both love hiking, and it showed throughout the shoot—Danyelle effortlessly walked across large rocks in high heels, proving that their adventures together will never stop, no matter the terrain.

A Cinematic Ending – Capturing the Magic from Above

One of the highlights of this elopement was how we were able to tell their story creatively through both photo and video. Typically, we focus on videography, but this was one of those weddings where we were so glad to do both. To close out their wedding video, we filmed an incredible drone sequence that perfectly captured the joy of the day. Nick and Danyelle ran hand-in-hand across the open field, and as the drone started high above, it gradually lowered until it met them at their feet—a powerful and cinematic ending that symbolized their journey together.
