A Summer Wedding in the Soybean Fields in Goshen, IN | 06.14.2025

On June 14, 2025, love blossomed in the quiet countryside of Goshen, Indiana, where the soft hum of summer and the sway of soybean fields became the backdrop for a wedding as genuine as the couple themselves. For Neida and Reese, the story began in the aisles of Menards. That simple beginning followed them all the way here—to a day stitched together with family hands, laughter, and the timeless beauty of a family farm. As Indianapolis wedding videographers and photographers, we’re always chasing those love stories that feel like they could only belong to one couple. This was exactly that kind of day.

A Ceremony Rooted in Home:

The minute we arrived at Reese's grandparent's property, the family and friends moved with purpose—setting up a twinkle-lit tent, building an arch, and arranging chairs and tables. Every corner of the property reflected love in its simplest and most powerful form--people uniting together for others.

Neida slipped into a gown that looked like it was meant for this very moment—lace sleeves, a row of delicate buttons down the back, and a crown that framed her-- she looked absolutely breathtaking.

Reese, true to himself, wore his cowboy boots, jeans, and vest—humble, steady, and so fitting for a country wedding in the fields his family treasured. Together, they stood side by side, not in contrast, but in perfect harmony.

Love in the Soybean Fields:

The ceremony unfolded with the wide-open sky above them and a field stretching endlessly behind. The officiant’s words—woven with playful nods to Menards—brought smiles and laughter, balancing the weight of the moment with a lightness that felt entirely theirs.

It wasn’t just two people promising forever. It was the merging of families, the binding of traditions, and the start of a chapter.

Portraits Straight from a Movie:

There are weddings that feel cinematic, and this was one of them. Leonard’s drone footage captured the two of them running through the fields, their laughter carrying in the breeze. I photographed them against the hues of gold and green, their love set against the beauty of earth and sky.

A Celebration Under the Lights:

As the sun melted into the horizon, the tent glowed like a lantern in the night. Toasts poured out—words that made everyone laugh, cry, and cheer. The night was filled with all the best things-- Dancing, tequila shots, laughter, the aroma of home-cooked dinner and Reese and his best guys smoking cigars. When Neida changed into a short white dress, the evening took on a new rhythm-- it was only the beginning of the evening festivities. Add in the charm of Reese’s grandpa’s vintage red Ford truck, and the portraits became something more than images. They became story stills—fragments of a summer evening that will linger forever.

A Sparkling Farewell:

The night closed with sparklers-- family lined the path, arms raised, voices lifted in celebration, as Neida and Reese ran hand in hand through a tunnel of light. It was a moment that felt less like an ending and more like a spark—igniting the beginning of their forever.

A Note From Us:

There are weddings that remind us why we do what we do. This one wasn’t just a celebration—it was a love letter to family, to place, to legacy. We left that night with full hearts, grateful not only to capture it but to feel it alongside them.

To Neida and Reese—may your love be as enduring as the land beneath your feet, as joyful as your laughter, and as boundless as the fields where you began this journey together.

With Love,

The Whites
