A Skyline Love Story: Megan & Scott’s Luxury Wedding at Regions Tower | 08.09.2025

The Vision

As wedding videographers, there’s nothing we love more than stepping into a couple’s world and weaving their story into something timeless. Every wedding is a unique tapestry of emotions, details, and moments—and Megan and Scott’s big day on August 9th, 2025, was no exception. From the moment Megan first reached out, she made it clear they wanted a hype video that captured the joy, glamour, and energy of their love story. We love a new challenge and intertwining romance and hype into a story was going to be so fun. Filming their celebration at the breathtaking Regions Tower in downtown Indianapolis was an added bonus!

Getting Ready | Luxury Wedding Details

Megan and Scott poured their hearts into every sophisticated detail, turning their wedding day into a reflection of their thoughtful and tasteful personalities. From Louis Vuitton belts and Versace cologne and perfume bottles to custom-tailored suits embroidered with their wedding date. From Megan's beautiful shoes with nods to her siblings weddings, to her flawless low back dress that showed off all her hard work at the gym.

One of the sweetest highlights of the morning was Scott’s gift to Megan: a necklace from her favorite jewelry store in Columbus, Ohio. She already owned one engraved with their initials, S&M, but the new piece read K-I-S, inspired by the initials of her sweet little fur family, Kiva, Indy and Scott. It was such a sentimental detail, perfectly aligned with their story.

One of my favorite captured shots during the getting ready segment was Megan standing with flowing white curtains, overlooking the skyline. The lighting was magical, highlighting her cross tattoo... Scott was in for a treat when he finally got to see her :)

Pre-Ceremony Vows

Before the ceremony, we filmed their vows separately in a quiet interview-style setting, a powerful way to capture raw emotion and also help get out those pre-wedding jitters. These private pre-ceremony vow readings are one of our favorite elements to incorporate into cinematic wedding films, especially when creating a luxury wedding hype video like the one Megan and Scott envisioned. It added emotional depth and storytelling dimension giving just the right amount of romance to pair with the hype.

The Ceremony | Rooftop Wedding at Regions Tower

The ceremony on the rooftop of Regions Tower was absolutely breathtaking. A stunning floral arch framed their vows against the Indianapolis skyline, creating the perfect cinematic backdrop for a rooftop wedding ceremony. Surrounded by their bridal party who brought incredible energy—looking absolutely stylish, being supportive in every way, and down for anything!

Their sweet goldendoodles girls made a grand appearance after the ceremony for photos and were so happy to see their parents looking so fabulous, and officially married! The love for their pups didn’t stop there—during cocktail hour, custom napkins and stirrers featured their dogs’ faces. It’s those personal elements that make a wedding feel so intimate, and I adored how Megan and Scott wove their family (furry and all) into every part of the day.

Cocktail Hour | Espresso Martinis & Ice Sculpture Experience

Cocktail hour kicked off with an ice sculpture carved with their initials, where Espresso Martinis were poured down the center. It was one of the most unique cocktail features we’ve seen at a wedding and made for incredible video moments. As a wedding videography team, we love capturing elements like this that elevate the guest experience and add memorable personality to a wedding film. Unfortunately I was pregnant during this wedding, so I lived vicariously through everyone enjoying them—but wow, they looked SO good!

The Reception | #2Chains Celebration

As the sun set over Indianapolis, the reception came alive. Their wedding hashtag, #2chains, played on their last name, and giant illuminated letters spelling out the hashtag glowed in front of the DJ booth. The speeches were emotional and full of laughter, and Megan kicked off dancing by swapping her dainty wedding shoes for customized Air Force Ones bedazzled in their wedding colors and embroidered with their date that she made herself.

Their first dance was show stopping with sparklers, and Leonard captured stunning drone footage soaring above the rooftop. One of the most emotional moments of the night was Scott sharing a dance with his grandmother—and before the song ended, he surprised Megan’s mom by inviting her to dance. Her reaction was pure joy, and it instantly became one of those unscripted moments that wedding films are built around.

The Party | Skyline Celebration

The night wrapped under twinkle lights and the glow of city lights, with guests dancing wildly, even lifting Scott above their heads. There was a photo booth for silly snaps, an air gun, bubble machine, and just an electric atmosphere.

Your wedding was more than a celebration—it was a powerful testament to your commitment and the beautiful life you’re building together--with your fur babes, with your businesses, with your hard work. It feels weird calling this a "job" because we absolutely love what we get to do. How special that we get to stand front row and behind the scenes of the most important day in your lives. We are so grateful for relationships that start as clients and end as friends. Thank you for letting us witness your love story.
