Madelyn and Austin tied the knot on August 31, 2024, in one of the most heartfelt and picturesque weddings we’ve ever had the honor to capture. Their special day unfolded at the breathtaking Black Iris Estate in Carmel, Indiana, a venue as timeless and elegant as their love story.

Their ceremony was held in a stunning greenhouse-like frame draped in lush green vines, creating a magical, natural ambiance. For the reception, guests gathered in a beautiful mansion on the estate, where the love and laughter that filled the day carried late into the night.

A Love Story for the Ages

The best part of Madelyn and Austin’s story is how they met. Years ago, as tweens, they crossed paths on a cruise ship. Madelyn lived in Indiana, and Austin lived in Idaho. Despite the distance between them seeming insurmountable, when they met on that cruise, something extraordinary happened.

Madelyn went back to her cabin and informed her sister that she had just encountered the love of her life. Austin shared with his friends and father that he had just met his future wife. Nobody believed them. They were young, and the chances appeared slim. With the help of God, their loved ones' support, and a love strong enough to withstand the test of time, they reached this extraordinary day, despite the distance and skeptics.

The Wedding Day

Madelyn was a vision in her elegant white gown, complete with a statement bow on the back and delicate lace pearl gloves. Austin wore a fresh sleek black suit.

Their first look was one of the most emotional moments of the day. Just the two of them—along with the photographer and videographers—shared this intimate, heartfelt moment. Seeing each other for the first time, they were overcome with emotion, and there wasn’t a dry eye among us. It was a beautiful reminder of the deep love they share.

Guests were greeted with creative and personal touches, including adorable newspapers featuring fun details about their journey, their dog, and even a crossword puzzle. Every moment of the day was thoughtfully planned and full of love.

Their vows were absolutely unforgettable—romantic, heartfelt, and deeply moving. If we could include every single word in their highlight video, we would, because they were just that powerful. There were definitely tears shed during the ceremony, a testament to how incredible their love story and promises to one another were.

A Night of Celebration

The reception was just as emotional and joyous as the ceremony. Austin’s dad and brother gave a tearful speech that left everyone moved, and Madelyn’s sister added her own sweet take on their love-at-first-sight cruise ship story.

The night ended with dancing, laughter, and even a few unexpected moments—like someone splitting their pants on the dance floor! It was a celebration that perfectly reflected the joy and love Madelyn and Austin bring to everyone around them.
