On October 28, 2023, Kailey and Gregory celebrated their love at the picturesque Shinnyville Hill Venue in Owensville, Indiana. Their wedding was a beautiful blend of bohemian elegance and truly heartfelt moments, making it a day we will never forget.

Kailey looked absolutely stunning in her gown, featuring an off the shoulder look with puffy sheer sleeves and a half-up, half-down braid that made her look like a bohemian goddess. Her bridesmaids wore mauve champagne dresses, which paired beautifully with bouquets of eucalyptus and dried palms. Greg and his groomsmen wore sleek forest green suits, but of course the guys had to add a little flare by wearing silly crazy socks underneath.

One of the most heartfelt moments of the day was when Kailey had her first look with her father. Tears welled up as he saw his daughter dressed as a bride for the first time. Kailey paid attention to every meaningful detail—she had a tie made featuring a childhood photo of her and her dad. To honor her family, she wrapped her bouquet with her late grandfather's flannel, fabric from her mother's wedding dress, her father's ring, and pictures of her grandparents, keeping treasured family memories close to her heart.

Before the ceremony, Kailey and Greg shared a “first touch,” holding hands around a corner to exchange personal vows without seeing each other. They both shared tears and laughter as they read each other their vows. This intimate moment was so special and added even more anticipation for the ceremony!

Despite a rainy start to the day, the weather held up for the ceremony, allowing the couple to exchange vows surrounded by vibrant fall colors. The overcast skies provided a soft, diffused light, creating a romantic and cinematic atmosphere. They both shared tears as they proclaimed their love for one another and sealed it with a kiss. As they walked down the aisle as newlyweds, guests celebrated with confetti stringers and a dip kiss to top it off.

Kailey and Greg’s portrait session was truly one for the books. As the sky grew gloomier, it cast the perfect moody ambiance, enhancing the rich autumn hues and making Kailey’s white gown stand out even more beautifully. The setting felt almost cinematic, and Leonard captured an incredible drone shot of them walking hand in hand toward the open field—a breathtaking moment frozen in time. Their energy was infectious; despite it getting cold, they were up for anything, embracing every creative idea with enthusiasm, which made for some truly stunning and dynamic portraits. Their willingness to go with the flow turned an already picturesque setting into an unforgettable session.

The reception was held in Shinnyville Hill’s barn, where large doors opened to let in the fresh fall air and the soothing sound of falling rain while everyone was cozy inside ready to celebrate the newlyweds. Kailey and Greg didn't miss a single detail. The bohemian decor featured wicker baskets and lanterns with candles, creating a cozy ambiance. They even had the cutest teepee with activities for the kiddos. Heartfelt speeches from the maid of honor and best man brought laughter and tears, celebrating the couple’s journey together. Adding personal flair, Kailey and Greg changed into light-up sneakers for their first dance, infusing fun into tradition. Instead of a bouquet toss, they opted for a t-shirt launch, which had everyone fired up. The couple also entertained everyone with the “Wedding Shoe Game,” answering humorous questions that showcased their personalities. The night concluded with glow sticks, an endless dance tunnel and nonstop dancing. A charming photo booth with props featuring cutouts of their cat and dog added a personal touch, giving guests a fun way to capture memories.

Having never met Kailey or Greg prior to the wedding, we left feeling like we just celebrated our friend's getting married. Their day was a true testament to their love for one another but also the incredible family and friends that surround them. Thank you, Kailey & Greg, for trusting us with such an important day and letting us share in the sweetest, intimate moments of it.
