Some wedding days feel extra special — not just because they’re beautiful, but because of the history you share with the people getting married. Autumn and Jordan’s wedding day was one of those days for us. We didn’t exactly grow up together with Autumn, but we did go to the same high school-- we walk the same halls, had the same crazy math teacher, and maybe.. potentially.. hypothetically used Autumn's ID as a fake ID. And Jordan? He worked out at the same gym as us for years. So when they reached out about capturing their wedding day, we were genuinely so excited! There’s something really special about seeing someone for the first time in over a decade and realizing how beautifully their life has come together. Being at their wedding felt like a little reunion — seeing familiar faces from high school, some now married, some with kids, everyone in such different seasons of life. It was honestly really cool to witness how much growth and love had unfolded for so many people over the years.
A Thoughtfully Planned Morning
Autumn and Jordan were married on the most perfect fall Michigan day, with the colors at their absolute peak! Their wedding took place at the beautiful Twin Gables Event Center in Sturgis, Michigan, and it truly felt like fall at its finest.
The morning started with the girls getting ready — the hustle and bustle of a big group of girls getting their hair and makeup done and laughter filling the room. Meanwhile, the guys were very much in chill mode-- basketball game on, drinks in hand, kicking back and enjoying the morning together.
Autumn had put together a whole collection of thoughtful gifts for Jordan, and he could not stop raving about her. Over and over, he talked about how Autumn is the most thoughtful person — how she thinks of gifts that are completely outside the box and deeply meaningful. One of those gifts was a set of custom cufflinks made in honor of his dog who had recently passed. It was such a touching detail, and you could feel just how much love and care went into it. Another really sweet moment was watching Jordan help Autumn’s son, Liam, get ready. That quiet, intentional time together said so much about the family they're joining and growing together.
Autumn wore a stunning off-the-shoulder gown with a beautiful train and buttons down the back. She looked absolutely gorgeous. One of her favorite sayings is “choose happy,” and Jordan even referenced it in his vows. What made it even more special was that “choose happy” was embroidered on the inside of her dress — a quiet reminder she carried with her all day.
The Details (And There Were So Many)
After hearing Jordan rave about how thoughtful Autumn was, it was clear she was the main planner behind this day, and it showed in every single detail. Nothing was overlooked — from the biggest moments to the smallest touches that made everything feel so intentional and personal. A Polaroid guest book capturing moments throughout the night. A wedding day crossword puzzle guests could fill out together. Personalized mirrors. Cocktail napkins with fun facts about Autumn and Jordan. Flip-flops ready for the dance floor. Blankets by the outdoor fire. Blank Jenga blocks for guests to put advice on. A charcuterie board that was genuinely to die for.
A Ceremony Full of Love
Liam walked down the aisle alongside one of their German Shepherds, acting as the ring bearers — and it was every bit as badass as it sounds. They have two beautiful shepherds who were included throughout the day and even joined them for portraits after the ceremony. And here at White Pack Media, where our whole name and logo stemmed from our little pack of Shepherds, we soaked up every bit of their beautiful fur babes.
Their ceremony and personal vows were the perfect combination of laughter, tears and pouring their hearts out to each other. Jordan got choked up during his vows, and the way they spoke about each other — how they met, how they grew, how they chose each other — was such a powerful testament to their love and their family.
Fall Portraits & Golden Light
Their portrait session was unreal. The fall colors in Michigan, the sun flares, the gray rolling clouds — everything came together perfectly. Leonard captured incredible drone footage of Twin Gables Event Center, showing the venue surrounded by peak fall color, and it honestly felt so cinematic. Autumn and Jordan were a dream to work with, which we already expected going into the day. These two were always smooching, & always laughing. I'm talking-- we never had to tell them to kiss, they were already on it! Their connection was effortless, and capturing it felt so natural.
In addition, their bridal party brought that same vibe. Everyone was down for whatever, full of energy, and ready to celebrate. Their all-black attire looked incredible against the fall backdrop and complemented their color scheme beautifully.
Dinner, Dancing & The Party
Dinner was next-level comfort food — barbecue, prime rib, cheesy mashed potatoes, peach cobbler — the kind of meal that makes everyone happy... and ready to dance!
Autumn even thought to have a margarita mocktail on the menu which Pregnant Keanna very much enjoyed :)
After full bellies, the night turned into exactly what it should be: a party! Beer pong, a packed photo booth, outdoor games, fireside convos and a packed dance floor. Autumn even changed into the cutest white party dress with a fabulous bow on the back — the perfect outfit to end a perfect day.

Autumn and Jordan, your wedding day was such a reflection of who you are — truly the most thoughtful, fun, intentional, and genuine people. Getting to be a part of your wedding day meant more to us than you know. Thank you for trusting us with something so meaningful. We’ll never take for granted that we get to be part of days like this — days that remind us how beautifully life continues to unfold.
