We're typically capturing wedding days through film, wedding videography is our main lane, so anytime we get the opportunity to photograph a wedding instead, it's always a fun shift in creativity. As filmmakers, we're used to documenting love stories through motion and sound, so getting to tell Pary and Edward's story through still images brought a whole different creative lens that we were so excited to lean into.
Leonard actually met Edward through Muay Thai, which eventually led us to photographing their engagement session. From the start, they were just so fun to work with, super laid-back, down for whatever creative ideas we threw their way, and always willing to take extra time if it meant getting the shot. So going into their wedding day, we already knew it was going to be a good one.
Pary and her girls got ready at the cutest Airbnb, and funny enough, it was fully decorated for Halloween. Which was thoughtful… but also meant we had to move a few skeletons and spooky décor pieces out of the way to keep things feeling elegant for photos.
Pary had a gorgeous bag of items to use for her flat lay, and I had so much fun putting it together. From her INSANE ring to her matching jewelry and bridal details, it all photographed so cohesively and felt very her. Pary looked absolutely stunning with an off-the-shoulder dress that was fitted through the waist, and then flowing out with the most beautiful veil.
Meanwhile, the guys were getting ready downstairs, and watching the boxing fights. One of the most fun moments of the morning was Edward opening his gift from Pary. She had done a boudoir session with me beforehand, so getting to see his real-time reaction to those photos was honestly such a fun full-circle moment. Pary slayed her boudoir session and Edward's response was everything and more!
If I had to describe Pary and Edward's energy all day, it would be calm, & go-with-the-flow. No stress, no tight timelines, no pressure, they were just soaking it all in which I feel is so important on the biggest and fastest day of your life.
Before the ceremony, they shared a first touch before everything officially started. A sweet moment to slow down from the hustle and bustle of the morning and just share in the last few moments before becoming one.
Their wedding took place at Liter House in Indianapolis, Indiana, and we loved the vibe of this venue. It has this industrial feel to it, which paired so beautifully with their blush color scheme. We made sure to sneak outside for portraits before it got too chilly, because November in Indiana is always a gamble. The fall colors were still showing off, and we had so much fun moving around different spots. The Liter House is right off the Monon Trail and perfect to snag some portraits. It added such a fun Indianapolis touch and gave their gallery a mix of romantic and urban vibes.
And honestly… these two made our job easy. They were always smooching, laughing, leaning into each other, we never had to force a moment.
Once the reception started, it was party time. Edward is definitely more of the introverted, reserved type, but the second he hit the dance floor, it was like a switch flipped. The energy, the moves… it was so unexpected and so fun to watch. He did not hold back, and everyone loved it.
Edward's last name is Packard, so they had a Pac-Man arcade machine at the reception, such a fun, personal nod. Their cake was beautiful, the floral details looked almost too real to eat. And instead of traditional table desserts, each table had cupcake bouquets designed to look like floral arrangements. Such a creative touch.
One of the most emotional moments of the day came when Edward and his family gathered with a framed photo of his brother who had recently passed. They took portraits holding the frame, and you could just feel how present he was in that moment, even though he wasn't physically there. Those are always the moments that stick with you.
To close out the night, guests gathered outside for a streamer send-off, everyone cheering, celebrating, and sending them off into married life in the most joyful way.
Pary and Edward, your wedding day was such a reflection of who you are. Relaxed, joyful, intentional, and just genuinely fun to be around. From Muay Thai connections to engagement photos, boudoir session to your wedding day, it's been so special getting to capture your story!
We're so grateful you trusted us with it.
With love,
